Strange Strangeness

A mesmerizing visual metaphor for immigration and acculturation, as well as a critique of Anthropocentrism and its consequences for the environment. This video is part of an installation including 16 hand-painted photographs, a bench and floor tape, first exhibited in May 2014 at the Boston Center for the Arts. Based on the writings of Timothy Morton on Object-Oriented-Ontology, and part of the creator’s Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
